Aphex Twin To Release First Album In Thirteen Years

Yes, you read that headline correctly. Aphex Twin (Richard D. James) will be releasing his first album in thirteen years, entitled Syro (his last release was  Drukqs, way back in 2001).  While the album doesn’t have an official release date, we can speculate that the album will be released by the end of the year.  There have been several sightings of a green blimp with the Aphex Twin logo and 2014 all over London and New York City recently. With the Twitter account for Aphex Twin being obsolete, and no live bookings in nearly two years, it has been very quiet. That’s why this is possibly the best news some of us have received all year. A simple tweet is sometimes all you need.

Page wont load? That’s because you can only see the details with the Tor Browser. Don’t worry, we have the supposed tracklist from the forthcoming album here, which was the little surprise uncovered in the link. If you can’t wait for this album, check out a list of other highly-anticipated albums of 2014.
