Andrew Bayer x Ilan Bluestone, and Rezz top our favorite new releases

Here in the Pacific Northwest, all genres of music are respected. We can get down to almost anything, as long as it’s quality. While COVID-19 has shut down club shows, and festivals, it hasn’t stopped artists from releasing new music. Two songs we are currently in love with? A bass stomper. A trance stomper. Both of which has us ready to party!

REZZ releases her favorite track

One of her biggest tracks to date, Space Mom, aka REZZ, teams up with Grabbitz for her latest single, Someone Else. REZZ has collaborated with a handful of dance music producers in her career. In attempts to keep her collaborations unique, she’s opting to occasionally work with rock and roll artists. We found past collaborations with The Rigs, Sayer, and Underoath. Rezz’s choice to collaborate with Grabbitz comes as no surprise.

There’s a lot going on in Someone Else. We read rumors about Rezz’s love life, but it’s not our concern. Our concern is the high energy drop. Did you feel it (Mr. Krabs) when Grabbit’s lyrics were brought back in around 1:25? Phenomenal.

Who wants some tronce?!

With little warning, iconic trance label Anjunabeats released Black and Blue, the second massive collaboration between Andrew Bayer (Black) and Ilan (Blue)stone. If you thought trance was all hands up in the air and crying, well, we are happy to show you a whole new world!

How much more can we hype this song? You really just need to hear it yourself and start jumping. Bayer and Bluestone’s first collaboration, Destiny (2017), was more melodic- often used as the intro to their live sets. This time, they worked to get hearts pumping.

A trance song, and a bass song, topped our favorite releases from this past week. What are your favorite songs released during quarantine? Let us know in our comments section on Facebook, and Twitter!
