Deadmau5’s Latest Coffee Run Victim? (Crackpipe) Toronto Mayor Rob Ford

One thing that we hope we’ll never be able to accuse Deadmau5 of being is boring. One of the ways he keeps us on our toes is with his infamous Coffee Run, this most recent one features none other than Rob Ford, Mayor of Toronto. Mau5 picked up the mayor in the signature Purrari and he soon finds himself trying to explain the wonders of Nyan Cat and the Gumball 3000. While perhaps not as full of shenanigans as his typical Coffee Run it’s nowhere close to boring. The gentlemen discuss topics such as awful city drivers, construction season, overpriced BMX tracks, and the perils of eating while driving.

He may have previously admitted to partaking of other stimulants, but today Rob Ford’s Tim Horton’s order consisted of just five “expresso” shots in one cup. Joel cracked up of course at the order. Before Mau5 could pull his signature move of making his guest pay Rob pulled out his own cash and insisted that Joel hang on to the rest to pay for gas. Once the coffee kicks in the conversation got more animated with such topics as the notorious Mau5 head (now made by the friendly folks at Jim Henson’s Creature shop) and Joel’s thoughts on the fans who make their own. Games of both the video and board variety also came up, namely Risk. We’re pretty sure we wouldn’t want to play Risk with Deadmau5, he sounds ruthless.

Watch this newest iteration of the Coffee Run and tell us what you think. Does it live up to the others?
