New Features at EDC Las Vegas Headliners Will Love

Pasquale Rotella and his team of Insomniacs have told us to prepare ourselves for all that’s in store at EDC Las Vegas this year. With flights booked, hotel rooms reserved, outfits picked out, and kandi made, it’s hard to believe that this is the week we’ve been waiting for– but it’s HERE! Insomniac has been kind enough to outline some of the incredible things in store for you headliners at this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival in the Las Vegas desert.

In addition to the typical amazing sets, art installations, performers, parade, vendors, and stages you can get excited for plenty of new things at EDC’s 20th Anniversary! The VIPs will be getting access to some crazy perks, but rest assured that all headliners will be well taken care of.

For the VIP crowd, there will be a Beauty Bar at the kineticFIELD where you can get your hair, makeup, or body art done by appointment. The kineticFIELD Bubbles Bar will offer a special champagne-only menu where you can toast to your festie besties and one incredible experience. VIPs will also have access to the kineticFIELD Tiki Bar where you’ll get your own coconut (that you can add some “I’m-the-best-dancer” juice to). If the bar isn’t your jam, Longshot Coffee will be wheeling a mobile cart around the kineticFIELD VIP area with all the iced coffee you can handle. If you find yourself needing to chill for a second, head to NeonGarden VIP for plush daybeds, pool tables, a juice bar, food trucks, and life-size games.

The VIP crowd aren’t the only ones getting cool new features this year, though. Trance fans will get to see Insomniac’s Dreamstate host the circuitGROUNDS all day long on Sunday. For the vapers, you get a whole village with vendors to fill any empty pen, eGO device, mod, or AVP (whatever that all means). If your tree-hugging heart hurts at every festival, know that the festival food vendors will have their cooking oil transported and converted into usable biofuel. Additionally, Global Inheritance will be bringing their Live Recycling Bin Painting art project, in addition to the return of the TRASHed Recycling Store.

EDC Las Vegas Carnival Square - Insomniac

The EDC Carnival Square features Wi-Fi, charging stations for your phone, and more.

Should your raver love be true love or just a festival fling, tie the knot (officially or not) at the Chapel of Nature which has an earthy aesthetic, or the Chapel of Future which is technologically themed. If your love is for the history of EDC over the last 20 years, walk down the Memory Lane video tunnel to sneak a peek into the ghosts of festival’s past. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the bigger and better EDC Parade nightly around midnight while you explore the grounds.

You don’t have to be a VIP to get this perk, but you probably need a sizable bank account: take an Uber to and from the festival in a freaking chopper. Cars are also available, and a private Uber Lounge will provide charging stations, shade, and music to keep you content while you wait for your ride.

EDC Town will be making its return near the cosmicMEADOW with all-new attractions like the Little Red School House, EDC Theater, and the EDC Saloon. Feel like you need to get *something* done this weekend? You can register to vote at the HeadCount booth inside Carnival Square. There will be a new art car this year, new performer troupes, brand new stages, and even free high-speed wi-fi at Carnival Square.

This weekend, don’t worry about anything but the experience. Insomniac is going to be taken plenty good care of all its headliners, no matter what stage or attraction you’re at. Be safe, headliners we’ll see some of you under the electric sky. Come back with plenty of good stories for those of us who will be at home this weekend prepping for Paradiso!

Are you making the journey to Vegas this weekend? What’s your favorite new feature?
