Marshmello and Lil Peep Track Expected to Release This January

On November 15 rapper Lil Peep died from an accidental overdose. He tested positive for a number of drugs. Though he had a big following, a lot of people had not heard of him until his passing. But his image was a bit torn apart from the way he portrayed himself on social media, and the way he died.

This January, electronic music fans may be able to hear why Lil Peep was in the public eye for his music. A collaboration with Marshmello and Lil Peep is supposed to be released soon.

Though not many details have been released about the new track, seeing Lil Peep’s music live on is positive thing in his memory. When Lil Peep passed many celebrities showed their respect,  and Marshmello was one of the firsts with tweets and a tribute at his show. Though there were a lot of tributes, a lot of negativity came out as well, and hopefully with this new track more of the public will see why Lil Peep made music.

What do you think about a Marshmello and Lil Peep track in the wake of the artist’s passing?
