Last night, at this year’s DJ awards show in Ibiza, Armin van Buuren has once again won the title of “Best International DJ” and “Best Trance DJ.” He has maintained his status as the best global DJ for the past four years, and it is amazing to have won yet another year with this accomplishment.
The DJ Awards is a non-profit organization, created to recognize and honor the talents of the greatest producers since 1998. Held at a popular club in Ibiza, the award show is definitely a highlight of the summer.
The Dutch trance producer doesn’t stop there. He has also won IDMA’s “Best Radio Mix Show DJ” with his radio show “A State Of Trance.” His podcast has also been awarded “Best Podcast” which showcases the best parts of Armin’s radio show. This has been a year to highlight many trance lovers, as well as introduce a new mix of talent to the “A State of Trance” series.
Hot on the heels of the A State Of Trance 600 world tour, Armin van Buuren is beginning his “Armin Only: Intense” world tour. With a name like that, one could only expect a theme of extraordinary. The first show will be at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on 15 November 2013. The show will be a seven hour set featuring live performances, dancers, and Armin himself, all night long.
The Intense tracklist has been revealed too, featuring vocalists like Emma Hewitt and Richard Bedford, and returning collaborators like Nervo.
