Northern BC’s ‘Way Too Loud’ crew presents: Deadman’s 5

In the remote reaches of Northern British Columbia, the Sukunka Valley Festival Grounds will be home to a new and exciting festival. Put together with devotion by Prince George BC’s very own Way Too Loud Crew, Deadman’s 5 will host performances from the likes of Kona, Chase Bankz and King Boo, plus a killer load of local talents.

Promising three days of camping, music, and community in a naturally spectacular locale, this is not an event you’ll want to skip out on. As an added bonus, sound will be powered by Canada’s very own PK Sound. For those who remember Awakening Music Festival, please note that the Bus Stage will be closed for 2019. However, the Beach Stage will still be fully operational.

If you happen to make the trek out from the nearest cities, the festival is roughly 2 hours from Dawson’s Creek, a 4-hour drive from Prince George and 3 hours from Grande Prairie AB. If you’re traveling from Vancouver or Edmonton, there are many smaller towns and cities along the way to break up the long drive (Author’s note: the drive from Prince George to Chetwynd is utterly breathtaking, but watch out for the changing time zone and the local moose!)

It bears repeating that BC has a special relationship with electronic music, and its thriving underground and mainstream scenes would not be possible without the relentless support from its local devotees. For this, we have much to thank the tireless efforts of crews such as WTLC for finding our local talent venues and opportunities to share their work and passion with us.

Are you going to be attending or are working with Deadman’s 5? Tell us about it in your shares!
