Love him or hate him, Skrillex has been making waves in EDM for quite a while. We are excited to see the announcement for his latest endeavor, creating sounds that will be used on the soundtrack for the next Transformers movie. He promises to be bringing us “the craziest Skrillex sounds (he) could ever make” and we can’t wait to hear them. This will be a great fit based on the sounds we’ve already heard in the latest installments of the franchise. Who didn’t think a little bit of dubstep was happening when we heard the metallic clashes of Optimus Prime and Starscream battling it out?
Skrillex has been keeping himself busy lately with the release of Recess with the same-titled single coming out around the same time. We continue to hope that he’ll grace the NW with his presence. We would love to see him live instead of hearing the local DJs we are fond of play his tracks. With all of that being said, we look forward to hearing his touch on Transformers and hope to see some of you at the movie when it comes out.
