Thomas Jack’s New “Flow” Remix Reveals A Different, Darker Side

Last week, the distinctively upbeat Thomas Jack released a remix of Crooked Colours track Flow just in time to usher in the sunny spring season. If you’re expecting another bubbly beach banger capable of evoking images of windblown palm trees, you’re in for a big surprise—but not a letdown. This track showcases the Australian producer’s ability to move far beyond the happy go lucky world of tropical house, and it’s always exciting when artists surprise their fan base with new and innovative material.

While Flow does, in fact, deviate from his signature sound, if you’ve seen Thomas Jack perform live you might recall his tendency to wander into slightly darker material. This track in particular reshapes into a slightly moodier house rendition, but the dreamy vocals stay intact. Overall, it’s an undoubtedly solid release, and we look forward to seeing what else he might have up his sleeve for this festival season.

What do you think of Thomas Jack’s new sound? Take a listen and tell us what you think in the comments.
