Seattleites flocked to Supernova in Seattle to catch Jauz in action for his Off The Deep End tour stop. The sold-out show thrown by White Rabbit Group attracted tons of people eager to dance the night away. Thankfully, the DMNW team had boots on the ground. Read our full review below.

Jauz’s set
If you haven’t had the opportunity to experience a Jauz set yet, we highly suggest that you catch one. The Bite This label boss is known for putting together high-energy sets, bringing together the sweet sounds of bass and house music in what is the holy matrimony of Bass House. His current Off The Deep End tour is a special treat for fans, heavily leaning towards house music. Supernova was the perfect home for his Seattle visit, pairing together the funky vibes of the venue with his groovy beats.
Opening The Night
It was a full house of local DJs – Trophies, Kyen, and Frida K got the party started with some funky beats.
Local Seattleite Frida K brought in the vibes with some tech-house beats that got everyone up and dancing. If you haven’t heard a set from her yet, it won’t be the last. After playing Paradiso in 2019, she has shared the stage with the likes of Claude Von Stroke, Walker & Royce, and more. She has been quite the powerhouse in the local music scene and excited to see her at shows.
Supernova
One of Seattle’s premier newer venues, Supernova is nothing short of amazing. Head down the light-up hallway to a 7-up vending machine, pull open the door, and you are greeted by the shining lights and decor. It was a sold-out show, as Seattle came out in full force with a line around the corner and smiles all around.
The venue was nothing short of amazing: a floating and spinning unicorn, flashy disco balls, and quirky lighting adorn this eclectic space. Everywhere you turn, there is something or somewhere fun to be. Hidden photo op behind the phone booth? Yes, please! Old school video games, check! One thing we can also appreciate: free earplugs!
Crowd
It seemed like for the most part, attendees had a great time dancing and laughing with their friends. However, due to serious overcrowding, some shoving was inevitable. Although many people were polite and respectful of space, we saw a lot of pushing and grabbing. Thankfully, there was easy re-entry that you could exit the venue for some air.

Fortunately, if you missed Jauz this time around you have more opportunities to catch him. As a PNW regular, he frequently tours and plays festivals in our region. In fact, his other stop on the Off The Deep End tour sold out in Portland the night after Seattle. So it’s safe to say we’ll be able to catch him again!
