Rüfüs Du Sol’s “Solace” tour impresses the PNW [Review]

Following the release of their newest album “SOLACE,” Rüfüs Du Sol has taken their talents across the world to provide a chance for their incredible fan base to experience the new album in a truly unforgettable way.

Giving us the opportunity to step into their world in Seattle, we left massively impressed with their show demonstrating how the combination of live instrumentation marrying with electronic beats can really take you into a new world. Incorporating moments from both their old and new albums, Seattle heard countless beloved records from their sophomore album Bloom as well.

Throughout the concert, it became clear just how many songs from Solace are incredibly cherished, from Lost In My Mind to Treat You Better and one of our own personal favorites, Eyes, there wasn’t a song played that wasn’t fully appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed by the enthusiastic crowd who chimed in singing along for multiple tracks.

The overall dynamic stage presence, impressive live vocals, impeccable timing and flawless transitions of the trio’s collaboration couldn’t have been executed any better. Highlighting a minimal stage production with vibey visuals that really only accents the initial thesis for the entire production, this show allowed the audience to focus solely on the music and live in the moment.

Throughout the venue were a sea of happy faces, swaying hands, and lovable concert-goers. Attracting a much wider variety of an audience than you’d expect at typical rave or electronic show, the general positive vibes throughout the evening at WaMu is going to be tough to outdo in the future.

Rüfüs Du Sol let us all escape reality for one incredible Saturday night in the Pacific Northwest. We highly recommend experiencing their future tour stops while you still can as it will be a journey that you will not regret.
