Sasquatch founder’s new brainchild ‘THING’ rolls out second year

Adam Zacks, the founder of Sasquatch! Festival is bringing back his event, THING, in Port Townsend, Washington. For 3 days, August 28-30, Port Townsend will be filled with art, music and something fresh to the eye.

THING is a multidisciplinary event that has features music, comedy, food, arts and much more. The event is produced by Seattle Theatre Group (STG) and Adam Zacks — STG’s Chief Programming Officer and founder of the acclaimed Sasquatch! Festival. In the first year of THING, the event was completely sold out, this year, it is going to be bigger and better with one extra added day. The full lineup will be revealed in mid-March, along with tickets for the event going on sale, Friday, March 20 at 10 am PT here.

The event is open to all ages, there will be stages and activities for all. Last year the lineup included the Violent Femmes, De La Soul, Café Tacvba and Jeff Tweedy but it does not stop there. Surprise guests and many artists stopped by the festival to join in on the fun, you never know which PNW artist is going to show up!
