Kaskade makes PNW’s Monstercat debut with new track “Flip Reset”

The pandemic has taught music lovers one thing and that is learning to enjoy music outside of a live environment. It has been a pleasure seeing how artists have been incorporating into our everyday lives without having us go to a venue. From virtual live streams to virtual festivals, dance music artists have kept our spirit high. Kaskade is adding a twist to sharing his music virtually.

Kaskade has just debuted on Vancouver-based Monstercat with Australian producer Will K. Their new track is titled Flip Reset, and the song will make you want to get up and move! And the best part? The song will be featured in the video game Rocket League. In Rocket League Season 2, gamers will have the opportunity to access Kaskade’s full EP while playing the game. How cool is that?

“As a kid who grew up on a steady diet of arcades and video games, it’s only right that I finally get to team up with Monstercat and Rocket League! Being able to create music (and get my own in-game items) exclusively for this season has stoked the kid in me that has always considered video games the ultimate threshold for cool. I hope you enjoy playing and it’s time to put those speakers to work. Turn it up!” –Kaskade

Monstercat was started in Canada and is one of our PNW’s pride and joys in the dance music world. Not only did Monstercat show us some of our favorite artists, but they also held many events that brought us joy in Vancouver, British Columbia.
