Join Parké Diem, Seattle’s longest-running free electronic festival on June 10

Parké Diem is Seattle’s longest-running free electronic music festival! The one-day event is kicking off this year at Volunteer Park on June 10 from 12 pm to 9 pm.

The family-friendly event boasts many vendors, a flow artist meetup, lawn games, and much more.  This year’s event is going to be headlined by K Theory and features many other local artists as well. There are also going to be live painters and performance artists. Parké Diem was founded in 2011 to highlight local talent and bring together the PNW dance scene.

This year, headlining the event is K Theory. K Theory consists of Dylan Lewman and Dustin Musser. They are from Berkeley, California, and are considered pioneers of the USA glitch scene. They are also described to have a multidimensional sound. Additionally, they have a rich discography, featuring countless singles, remixes, and album releases.

Also on the roster for the lineup is ZOF. She began as a classical piano player and is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. She has an upcoming album and has released on significant labels such as Insomniac, Techne, and HE.SHE.THEY.

System AU is a drum and bass duo who do not limit themselves to just one genre; they experimentally incorporate other genres such as jazz, melodic, and hip hop into their drum and bass. They have garnered support and been included in lineups with huge drum and bass legends such as Alix Perez, Hyrogliphics, and Rohaan.

Many other unique and interesting artists are included in this jam-packed day of fun. We’re looking forward to discovering new local talent in one of our favorite local parks.

Stroll in the park and check out Parké Diem

Parké Diem has grown a lot since its beginning and has been functioning based on donations and small partnerships. However, now Parké Diem is seeking to find larger corporate sponsorships to expand and enhance the experience to keep the festival growing and continuing for years in the future. They strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment for an unforgettable day at the park.

Be sure to check out this year’s Parké Diem at Volunteer Park Amphitheater on June 10 and bring all of your friends!
