Boo Seattle, one of the region’s largest Halloween parties, is right around the corner, set to kick off at WaMu Theatre during Halloween weekend and featuring four diverse stages.
Celebrate in the Grand Hall
The Grand Hall will be the festival’s main stage. Boo describes the stage as a “vast ballroom of fading elegance where light drifts, and shadows linger.”
Major acts GRiZ, James Hype, and Levity will be playing at the Grand Hall on Friday. AMP, Champion, Elderbrook (DJ set), Gramatik, and Gravagerz will also be on the main stage that day.
On Saturday, Sara Landry, Subtronics, and Cloonee will rock the decks of the Grand Hall. CHYL, Dansyn, Fraze, it’s murph, and Morgan Seatree will play there that day as well.
Headbang in the Bassment
For all the bassheads out there, the Bassment will be the place to be. The stage will be below the main structure.
“Descend into the Bassment, a realm built for those who crave heavier sound,” Boo stated. “Here, bass and dubstep vibrate through the room, settling into the walls.”
The stage is sure to be packed as headbangers spawn for popular artists Space Laces and TroyBoi on Friday, and Getter and YDG on Saturday.
Other acts on Friday include LYNY, Ravenscoon, Samplifire, and Taylor Hadden. On Saturday, A Little Sound, HerShe, Jem.G, Taiki Nulight, The Masquerade, and Usaybflow will also be in the Bassment.
Shuffle in the Corridor
Boo has put together a wicked house and techno lineup. If that’s your jam, the Corridor is where you’ll want to be.
Spooky portraits will line the wall of this long passageway turned stage. Candlelight will flicker, and shadows will move through the space, Boo described.
“Here, you surrender to the pulse of house and techno, where sound stretches on without end, and the atmosphere lingers just out of reach,” the festival says.
On Friday, big names like OMNOM and Walker & Royce will be in the Corridor, as will DJ Heather, Leah York, Joshwa, PEDROZ, Welker, and Westend.
On Saturday, the Corridor will host acts AZYR, Beebo, Clara Cuvé, Hannah Laing, Junkie Kid, Taylor Torrence, and even powerhouses Kayzo and Wuki.
Find your rhythm in the Hidden Library
Last but not least, Boo is offering a silent disco in the Hidden Library. But will you be able to find it?
The festival said the stage will be cast behind ordinary-looking shelves.
“Dust lingers, and books sit undisturbed, as though they remember every hand that has passed through,” Boo says. “It becomes the Silent Disco, where whispers turn to rhythm, and every movement exists in its own world.”

Boo hasn’t specified the music for the silent disco, but it should be a fun space to take a break.
A map of the festival can be seen here. Boo also appears to be bringing back its iconic rides, like the Tornado and the Super Orbiter. The VIP area will be up the stairs overlooking the main stage.
Boo has yet to announce set times, but keep an eye on their Instagram. This year’s show is shaping up to be one of their biggest yet.
