Around this time of year we can always count on GRiZ to serve up the holiday cheer. This season is no different, as GRiZ’s seventh rendition of 12 Days of GRiZMAS is happening now!
From December 12-23 GRiZ is throwing down two weeks of festivities and fun, all done to help raise awareness and funds for the Detroit based non-profit Seven Mile Music. This year’s events will be extra special, as GRiZ is streaming his philanthropic party across Twitch and Zoom.
As a Detroit native, GRiZ’s first-hand experiences of the city’s lack of music and arts resources stuck with him. Since becoming the bass virtuoso that he is today, GRiZ made it his mission to raise funds for Detroit’s music education and youth initiatives. Thus, the installment of GRiZ’s annual 12 Day’s of GRiZMAS event, uniting the dance music community to help a cause close to home. Over the past two years GRiZ and his team have raised over $200,000, all benefiting local non-profit Seven Mile.
Notably in true goodwill GRiZ fashion, each night of 12 Day’s of GRiZMAS hosts its own merry exchange. From baking cookies with Mama GRiZ, to Serve Our Community Day, and Family Board Game Night, there’s something new and magical to unwrap each time! Amazingly enough, GRiZ will even be auctioning off his very own saxophone during the Digital Charity Auction!
Of course it wouldn’t truly be a party without the music, as 12 Days of GRiZMAS always ends in blowout bass! We must have been good kids this year, as GRiZ and his team are packing some top of the scene names. A few to count on in appearance are Destructo, AC Slater, Blunts & Blondes, Codes and ProbCause! Check out the official announcement below and RSVP to join in on all the festive fun!
