6 Albums We Can’t Wait For This Summer

[divider]ZOMBOY – RESURRECTED LP[/divider]

Artists who end up with legendary careers and mythical recounting of their exploits are generally able to combine consistency with quality, and if there’s one dance music producer whose embodied those attributes over the last few years, it’s Zomboy. There’s already been plenty of buzz, most of it in fake or troll form, about his upcoming work, the Resurrected LP, which will be released on May 25th. Not much more is known about the album at this point, but we’ll be waiting on the edge of our seats for any bits of (real) news that comes our way.

From a confirmed to be fake track-list, to an April Fool’s Day Rick-Roll of epic proportions, there’s no denying the demand for and interest in Zomboy. The British 25-year-old, also known as Joshua Mellody, has more than a few great EPs to his name, and his debut album, The Outbreak, was one of the best releases in all of dance music last year. We’re more than a little excited for the Resurrected LP, which will undoubtedly be another collection great Zomboy tunes.

[divider]HUDSON MOHAWKE – LANTERN[/divider]

Scottish DJ and fan-favorite Hudson Mohawke, also known as Ross Birchard, is releasing his second studio album, and first since 2009’s Butter. The album, Lantern, is due out June 16th via Warp Records and follows the Chimes EP, which he released last year. A critically acclaimed DJ who’s unafraid of manipulating the boundaries between genres, we’re more than ready to see what Hudson Mohawke has created for us with his upcoming album. You can pre-order Lantern via iTunes here, and enjoy the debut-single from the album, Very First Breath, below.

[divider]DILLON FRANCIS – UPCOMING MOOMBAHTON EP[/divider]

The moombahton EP that every Dillon Francis fan has been begging for since 2013 is expected out sometime this year, with the man himself confirming several details regarding the work throughout 2015. Everyone has enjoyed Money Sucks, Friends Rule, but Francis and his fan base knows what we all really want: his oh-so-unique take on moombahton. Francis has embraced the obvious and incessant requests for more moombah from his fans, teasing album details left and right, while even releasing a new tune. Confirming collabs with Calvin Harris, Bro Safari, and Skrillex, everyone’s favorite Taco Bell enthusiast is building up to what may end up being his best work yet.
