Subtronics unveiled as first headliner for Shambhala Musical Festival in 2024

Starting on Dec. 1, Shambhala Music Festival has been delivering surprise after surprise for their annual “12 Days of Bassmas”. Capping the annual festivities off is none other than the first headliner announcement for the 25th iteration of the festival kicking off next year.

Bassmas kicked off at the start of the month with the release of the Shambhala 2023 aftermovie and a giveaway of two tickets. The subsequent days had a variety of exciting surprises from artist merch giveaways to Shambhala mix drops. Not only that, but they held a charity auction of a total of 20 tickets to benefit a variety of local non-profit organizations.

On Tuesday, Shambhala announced that none other than Subtronics would be making his return to the farm. The Philadelphia-native made his Shambhala debut on the Pagoda Stage in 2019, and returned to that same stage in 2022. He’s perhaps best known for his mixtape series called “Now that’s what I call Riddim,” though he has clarified that his music goes beyond that genre label.

The 25th Annual Shambhala Music Festival takes place between July 26 and July 29, 2024 at the Salmo River Ranch in beautiful British Columbia. Tickets for the festival sold out less than 24 hours after dropping, but keep a lookout from Shambhala on ways to get your hands on tickets in the months to come!

What other headliners are you hoping to be announced for the 25th Annual Shambhala? What are your thoughts on Subtronics’ return to the Salmo River Ranch? Let us know on our socials and in the comments below. As always, hope to see you on the dance floor!
