Excision’s Thunderdome set to return to Tacoma Dome in February

From February 6-8, Excision returns to the Tacoma Dome for the sixth installment of The Thunderdome. Known for its bone-crushing sound systems and arguably the most advanced laser production in the world, this year’s three-day takeover is shaping up to be the heaviest yet.

Whether you’re a local “headbanger” or traveling from across the country, here is everything you need to know!

We’re so excited to see ATLiens, Sullivan King, and Ganja White Night returning, and for the debut of Excision b2b Kai Wachi! We recommend getting a 3-day pass, but every night is going to be amazing. Single day tickets are available, although we think the most stacked day will be Saturday!

Ticket Info & Availability

  • Tickets are moving fast, with several tiers already sold out.
  • 3-Day GA Passes: Currently at Tier 5 $255 + fees (~$311).
  • Single Day GA: Starting at $99 + fees (~$122).
  • Express Entry: Approximately $140–160 per day, providing a dedicated expedited entry lane along with GA admission
  • No VIP tickets

Event Essentials & Entry Info:

To ensure a smooth entry into the “Dome,” keep these logistics and strict venue rules in mind:

  • Age Limit: 18+ with valid government-issued photo ID.
  • Clear Bag Policy: Strictly enforced. Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags only (max 12″ x 6″ x 12″). Small clutches (non-clear) are allowed up to 4.5″ x 6.5″.
  • Hydration: Clear hydration packs are permitted but must be empty upon entry and have no more than one non-clear pocket (max 6″ x 9″).
  • Strict Prohibitions: The Tacoma Dome is famously strict—items like gum (even unopened), vapes, and massagers are typically prohibited.
  • Totems: Allowed, but they must be inflatable or made of lightweight foam (max 10 feet tall).

Keep in mind this is the same weekend as the Superbowl, so plan ahead. Excision never disappoints with Thunderdome, and you can expect massive production with lasers, pyro, huge LED screens, and a jaw-dropping visual experience!
