Seattle’s SODO neighborhood is in for a special treat as Obsidian drops an extra show in their series on Friday, June 12th. Mita Gami, making his Seattle debut, will be taking over The Shop, Seattle’s “country club for gear heads” luxury car club, for a night of deep, hypnotic grooves. The industrial space, typically reserved for high-end luxury vehicles, will be undergoing a transformation into an immersive dance club.
Mita Gami is known for his signature blend of psychedelic house, deep melodic textures, and driving rhythms. The Tel Aviv-based producer has built a reputation for turning dance floors into spiritual journeys. He has released tracks on heavyweight labels like Diynamic, Crosstown Rebels, and Rebellion, and Gami’s unique sound has garnered support from players like Solomun and Black Coffee. He has played iconic stages like Club Space Miami and Pacha Ibiza, graced the dusty plains of Burning Man, and promises to bring an emotional, mind-expanding energy to the PNW.
The opening set will be performed by Gudfella, a rapidly rising force in the underground scene. Known for his a dark, groovy sound, Gudfella will get the evening started with high-energy selections that bridge the gap between indie dance and deep house.
This event is a collaboration between Obsidian, Opulent Temple, and On the Hiyu, collectives well-known to our readers for bringing major electronic events to the Pacific Northwest. Doors open at 8:00pm and run until 2:00am, open to 21+. Grab your passes before they sell out!
