Excision & Downlink Come Together For Reimagining of Queen Classic

Over the last six or so months, it seems like everything associated with Excision, be it his tour, his side project Destroid, or his festival presence, is solid gold. As an artist never satisfied with staying dormant, he comes to us now with his latest collaboration with fellow Destroid band member Downlink. This time around, we get a modern drum & bass take on the classic Queen anthem, We Will Rock You.

Rock You begins with the instantly recognizable vocals of the legendary Freddie Mercury, as it kicks into high gear soon thereafter. The drum & bass aspects take over, throwing the tempo into the the mid-to-upper hundreds, proving why both Excision and Downlink are more than simply dubstep artists.

Grab the free download over here, and catch Excision at the Paramount this Friday (1/24), joined by Dirtyphonics and Ill.Gates.
