The Noisy Freaks may not be a household name, but they may very well become one if they keep making music like the newest track off their Straight Life album, Freaks Orchestra. Categorizing the jazzy offering into a single genre is an impossibility you can’t help but revel in, thanks to its diverse midtempo scales paired with a full complement of instrumentals.
Piano, trumpets, violins, and everything else you could possibly want get mixed together to absolute perfection, as it more than puts the “orchestra” in Freaks Orchestra. We’d even go so far as to say flashes of talents like Gramatik and Pretty Lights come to mind the second the first guitar twangs (a statement not to be made lightly). All that and more make for a convincing argument that The Noisy Freaks are ready to burst onto the scene in a big way sometime soon. Put simply, if we woke up tomorrow morning and all music sounded like this song, we’d have a tough time complaining.
