“Easel sports is the new e-sports” and Seattle is getting a taste as Art Battle Seattle comes to Re-Bar on February 28th. Twelve Seattle-based artists will compete across three fast-paced rounds for audience votes and a chance to enter this year’s Art Battle National Tournament as the Art Battle Seattle Champion 2019.
Art Battles are held across the country, paired with high-energy DJ sets. At Re-Bar, Nightwatch will be providing the music as talented painters vie for the championship. The audience votes for the winner of each round, and the final victor. At the end of the evening, all of the paintings produced will be auctioned.
The Art Battle franchise operates in more than 100 cities and 6 continents, with more than 1,800 public competitions produced so far. Art Battle has showcased incredible creative talent and built communities and relationships that “support live art as a way of expression, innovation, and celebration.”
