Let’s talk about all the legendary B2B sets at Hard Summer 2019

As we enter July, we are fast approaching the festival-packed month that is August. Kicking off the upcoming festival month, on the West coast, is Hard Summer Music Festival.

HARD Summer has always been an anticipated event, hosted by none other than Insomniac. The festival is well-loved for hosting a blend of two major music genres: EDM and urban Hip-Hop.

Since the very first HARD Summer Music Festival in 2008, HARD has grown exponentially. Insomniac has taken extra steps to enhance and expand the festival- from production, safety standards, and amenities. VIP amenities will be enhanced with a splash pool, complimentary phone charging stations, an expedited festival entrance, gourmet food vendors and signature cocktails. There will also be dedicated VIP areas at HARDER Stage, Purple Stage, Pink Stage, and Green Stage.

Returning home to Southern California at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, this year’s iteration is one that you don’t want to miss.

Upon seeing this year’s stacked up, the first thing that caught our attention were the number of back-to-back sets, including the surprise guests set. Below is a breakdown of some of the performances that we are most excited to see at HARD Summer.

Day 1 – Saturday

Saturday’s lineup kicks off strong with with two monsters in the bass music scene, Excision B2B NGHTMRE. The Pacific Northwest has been previous treated to an Excision B2B NGHTMRE performance last year at the first ever Bass Canyon, hosted by none other than Excision himself.

Trap fans will not want to miss this B2B set with Flosstradamus and 4B. Both artists are currently touring in support of their recent collaboration, Blackout. Their performance at HARD Summer is one of the biggest on their multi-stop Blackout Tour.

Other performances by Kid Cudi, Alison Wonderland, Ghastly, and LICK are also on our list to see. Let’s not forget the third, and final, B2B set of the day- featuring two surprise guests that have still yet to be announced.

Day 2 – Sunday

ZHU and Tchami played out some epic summer vibes during their B2B earlier this year on Holy Ship! These two are legends with their own unique deep, and sensual, house music. We are definitely not going to miss this this rare, and special, ZHU B2B Tchami set.

Another must see performance includes the pairing of two legends in their respective genres within dance music. Dubstep pioneer Flux Pavilion with Drum n Bass star Netsky is a performance that will be nothing short of incredible.

Get ready to get wonky with Subtronics B2B Dirt Monkey. When it comes to riddim, Subtronics currently has one of the most diverse, and unique sounds, in dubstep. While holding his own with signature sounds, Dirt Monkey has proven time and time again that he has a natural talent of complimenting the artists that he works with. With the elite sound design from Subtronics, paired with the Dirt Monkey’s wonky beats, this B2B makes for an experience to remember.

After making a surprise appearance during Kayzo’s recent set at Paradiso Festival, Yultron will take the stage on day 2 of HARD. RL Grime, Major Lazer, Kill The Noise, OOKAY, and more will also be finishing off the festival on a strong note.

This two day festival will be held on August 3-4. For more information, click here to check out HARD Summer’s official website, GA and VIP tickets are still on sale here.
