Blueprint Events Celebrates 19th Anniversary with Killer Lineup

Just when you thought summer was over and festival season was a wrap, Blueprint announced their lineup for their 19th anniversary yesterday morning. The Vancouver based event powerhouse has put together an incredible lineup of music during Thanksgiving (Canadian) weekend. 2016 has been another great year for music in Vancouver, so it’s no surprise Blueprint pulled out all the stops to celebrate their 19th birthday. We’ve had the privilege to attend quite a few BP’s massives this year including FVDED in the Park, Get Together and Seasons, so it’s only fitting we be apart of this one as well… and so should you!

Dillon Francis, as always, will be bringing the heat – and if we learned anything from Paradiso earlier this year, he’ll be putting together a memorable set. One name that sticks out for us however is certainly REZZ. We’ve had the privilege to see her 3 times already, and each time she only gets better. Coming hot off one of the best sets at Shambhala, REZZ will continue to make waves in the music scene. All this plus the always fun What So Not, the trap king RL Grime, and funk master GRiZ, and you’ve got a recipe for a night full of dancing.

Beyond the main event, Blueprint will also be hosting several shows across the city on Friday and Sunday night. The weekend kicks off with German producer, Boys Noize throwing down what will likely be a great night of music at Celebrities Nightclub. Following the main event on Saturday the weekend will be capped off with your choice of Bakermat and Sam Feldt or Sander VanDoorn. Tickets to each event will be sold individually and go on sale August 15th at 11am. Judging by last years after movie, this will once again be an event not to miss.

For those looking to make the weekend that more exciting, Thursday night Seven Lions will be performing at The Commodore. While this event isn’t directly in line with the BP19YR, it does sweeten the idea of making a trip out of for those coming from out of town. If you end up picking just the main event, however, you’ll still be attending an incredible night of music. We’ve had the privilege of seeing most of these artist at other events already this year, so a 2nd or in some cases 4th time seeing them is a welcomed idea.
