Camo and Krooked Announced As First Shambhala 2015 Artist

Kids, it’s almost that magical time of the year… FESTIVAL SEASON! Since winter has been an utter disappointment in the NW if you’re a fan of snow it’s time to lick our wounds and look forward to warmer weather. It’s not secret that DMNW had an absolute blast at Shambhala last year, so we were positively giddy today to find out that today Camo and Krooked were leaked as the first artist on the Shambhala 2015 lineup. Shambhala confirmed this on their own website. For a festival that won’t even be upon us again until August, Shambhala has proven once again that they really have their shit together.

Hailing from Vienna, Austria, the guys of Camo and Krooked are a natural fit for Shambhala with their deep drum and base and minimal disco beats. Camo and Krooked is the combination of Reinhard “Camo” Rietsch and Markus “Krooked” Wagner, and what a combination it is. These two put together some incredible dance floor beats, including their 20 Years of D&B Mix posted below. We have no issue closing our eyes while listening to them and imagining ourselves being transported to the forest at the Salmo River Ranch.

Trust us, this year’s Shambhala is not one that you want to sit out. Tickets are still available, but don’t expect them to be around much longer. The last thing you want is to have to stay at home and read our highlights or wistfully watch the after movie like you had to do last year. The Early Bird and Installment Plan tickets are already sold out, but this is one that’s worth paying full price for. The vibes are like nothing you’ve ever seen, and a nice change from some of the bigger productions that have become popular. Rest assured that Shambhala is an experience you will cherish.

Lizzy has been raving since the wee age of 14 after being grounded for a month for having rave fliers in her bag. Like her other love, snowboarding, what was supposed to be "a phase" has become an essential part of her life and she is excited to see a new generation developing the same love.
