deadmau5 bringing ‘cube v3’ tour to Seattle in December

Dance music legend deadmau5 is bringing his new “cube v3” tour across North America this year. Lucky for us, that includes a stop in Seattle in December. The show is taking place at the WaMu Theater on Thursday, December 19th. Tickets for the show are available to the general public on Friday, April 5th at 10 a.m. via Live Nation.

There are currently no plans for a second show. The last time deadmau5, aka Joel Zimmerman, brought a cube-based tour to Seattle was late-April of 2017. We haven’t seen deadmau5 in our region (cube or no cube) since the summer of 2018 at Paradiso. A December performance sounds like the right way to get reacquainted.

As of now, San Francisco is the next closest location for a mau5 tour stop. That show comes in late-December as well.

The new live-show setup is an updated version of the original cube stage. The original setup debuted at Coachella in 2010. Deadmau5 brought it back with Cube 2.1 in 2017, and has since made some upgrades for his upcoming tour.

Fans at Ultra Music Festival 2019 got the first peek at the new and improved stage show. Although it the power didn’t entirely cooperate, it’s safe to say the hype is real when it comes to wanting to experience the latest from deadmau5 in person later this year.
