Digital Mirage Festival 2 announces this weekend’s set times, new cause

Digital Mirage Festival 2 kicks off this weekend, June 12-14 featuring 3 straight packed days of electronic music. Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade have teamed up to throw the follow up festival to Digital Mirage, held in early April. Since last festival’s set highlights included Said the Sky B2B Dabin, Sando Cavazzo’s Avicii tribute, and Adventure Club, this follow up stacks up as a can’t-miss. Originally slated for the first weekend in June, Digital Mirage 2 was postponed due to the music industry-wide Blackout Tuesday. Spawned by two women supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, promotion and releases halted to amplify black voices. While many producers and artists observed the event for the day, others chose to limit promotion further through the weekend in solidarity.

Now attention has slightly turned to support BLM causes in addition to demanding accountability for police forces from representatives. Many artists are using their platforms to connect audiences with self-eduction resources and donation sites. Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade announced the Digital Mirage 2 Festival donations will benefit the Equal Justice Initiative and Color of Change.

While Digital Mirage 2 boasts a full lineup of top-notch favorites like San Holo, NGHTMRE, and Malaa, yet-to-be-discovered artists appear in abundance.
