The pioneering team of Future Classic has joined forces with French clothing design company, le coq sportif, to bring an unusual and appealing idea. We’ve been fans of Future Classic ever since we discovered the label through Flume. Future Classic is a record label that showcases some of the most talented producers, that vary from sophisticated dance-floor sounds, to the most unconventional and unique experiments – every discovered artist quickly rises to fame. Through touring, licensing, a monthly podcast, and two weekly club nights in Sydney, FC has just about done it all – it’s a good thing they’ve added yet another addition to their agenda.
So get this: Future Classic released six exclusive tracks and the designers at le coq sportif released six new, limited-edition (totally rad) clothing pieces. What’s even cooler is that FC has all your favorites from the record label. Flume, Chet Faker, Touch Sensitive and others are remixed by all different artists, and they all make an appearance on the compilation. To get the track you want, you have to purchase the corresponding clothing item from le scoq sportif. Strange concept, but the clothing looks cool and the music sounds cooler.
