Harris/Skyhouse Music delivers future-pop track ‘Who Will Be Waiting’ [Review]

Here at DMNW we’re always on the lookout for up-and-coming artists and creatives based in the PNW. We’re driven by both our PNW pride and our general belief that our region overflows with undiscovered talent.

One singer/songwriter based in Portland falls under this category after we listened to his groovy, genre melting track, Who Will Be Waiting. Harris/Skyhouse Music delivers music that defies all classifications, as he weaves R&B, pop and electronic music into this danceable tune. Give it a listen below and read further for our full review!

Pick up your dancing shoes and get ready to groove because Who Will Be Waiting leads you right to the dance floor! This track kicks off with futuristic synths that fill out the harmony and create an out of this world feel. There’s no question that Who Will Be Waiting is one of a kind. Harris/Skyhouse Music uses an upbeat dance/house tempo and soulful R&B lyrics blended together just right. Both dance and electronic elements are at play here, but whats exciting is Harris/Skyhouse Music’s definite out of the box style. Generally artists stick with one genre, whereas Harris/Skyhouse Music choose to interweave as many as possible!

Since 2010 Harris/Skyhouse Music has been on a wild ride, working collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals. As a freelancer Harris/Skyhouse Music creates both melodic and lyrical compositions, beats, toplines and much more! Melding his masterful DIY inspired sound into collaborative work with others helps Harris/Skyhouse Music attain his mission of creating music that matters.
