Artists also often draw inspiration from other art forms outside of music, and whether it’s graphic design, video creation, painting, or drawing, being creative doesn’t just stop in the studio. This is especially true for Hatiras, who dabbles in graphic design, photography, video and video editing. He also does all the video and graphic work for his label Spacedisco Records.

George is always creating and fleshing out new material; he’s currently working on a ten track album, writing down as many ideas as he can, and will later choose the best ones for the album (It’s going to be heavy on the funk, with lots of great samples). He’s aiming for a summer release for this album, devoting the month of June to work on it before embarking on a small tour of shows, with stops in Denver, Portland, Toronto, Chicago, and Detroit.

Whether you’re just starting out on your musical career, or have experienced a lot of success so far, you can take a page from Hatrias’ book about constantly moving forward and staying true to your sound. It may take time, but being humble and appreciative will always serve you well on your path forward. Remember those that have helped you get there, the ones that will help you, and the people who have supported you always.

“I’m super appreciative of anyone that connects to my music! We have a mystical bond together through music. I love that. Thank you all so much for the support and encouragement!”

Thank you, Hatiras for allowing all of us to be a part of your remarkable journey, and for always staying true to yourself!
