Keys N Krates Reveal “Understand Why” Off Upcoming EP

Riding the momentum of the continued success of Are We Faded off of their new EP Every Nite, Keys N Krates revealed Understand Why just in time for the kick-off of their Every Nite tour, which began on September 18th. Combining loopy, pitched up 90’s house vocals, knocking rap drums, epic synths, big bass, and haunting voices, Understand Why forms a genre-defying banger.

Keys N Krates are ready to launch into the next phase of their journey with their six track Every Nite EP, which aptly demonstrates their evolution as a band, as well as their loyalty to the unique fusion of hip-hop and electronic music that they’re known for. Set for release on September 23rd, Every Nite displays the seamless blend and complementary juxtaposition between the drums, keys, turntables, and live sampling that so clearly distinguishes Keys N Krates.

In celebration of the Every Nite EP, Keys N Krates are embarking on a massive fall tour, co-headlining with Gladiator and with support from Thugli. We will be lucky enough to get a visit from them in Seattle on September 26th as part of the Decibel Festival. Aside from their noteworthy talent as producers and studio musicians, Keys N Krates truly set themselves apart by their performances, where they bring their live electronic instrumentation to the stage together as a band.
