For festival season 2020 (at least), it looks like longtime fan-favorite Paradiso is out, while Beyond Wonderland is in, when it comes to major dance music festivals at The Gorge. We’ll have to wait and see what Insomniac’s take on a massive multi-genre, multi-day EDM event at The Gorge looks like in a few months. But, one thing has remained the same: there is no shortage of Northwest talent performing at The Gorge this summer.

Home to 14 of the 68 acts on the full lineup, the PNW is well-represented at Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge. Eight of those 14 are from or are currently based in Seattle/Tacoma, while the other six are similarly connected to Vancouver, BC. That’s 20-percent of the lineup with ties to our corner of the continent. Not too shabby!

Of course, we can never get enough of our local artists. Getting the chance to see so many of them showcase their skills at one of the greatest music venues on the planet is something we don’t take lightly, and neither should you. So, join us in getting to know the Northwest artists performing at Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge before we enjoy their sets this summer.

First, our Seattle artists!

Kendoll

We’ve been big fans of Kendoll, aka Kendall Chase, for a long time. The Seattle-native who’s currently based out of Los Angeles has been on a steady rise since the outset of her career, and we couldn’t be happier watching her successes continue to compound. Releasing tunes on labels like Night Bass Records, Insomniac Records, Psycho Disco, and more, her brand of bass house is gaining notoriety. She released the Call Me Daddy EP in November, just ahead of her Northwest return at Resolution 2020. Performing at festivals in the past like Nocturnal Wonderland, EDC Las Vegas, and more, we can’t wait to see what she has in store for The Gorge at Beyond Wonderland this summer.

Hherb

Seattle-based vocalist, producer, and DJ Kenna Hherb is the kind of multi-talented artist that dance music was made for. Featuring original lyrics and vocals on her productions, Hherb will be showcasing her skills at one of the most famous venues on the planet this summer. Fans in attendance will likely hear Peachy, an original tune she released a few weeks ago. Hherb is a regular a local clubs like Trinity, Q, Kremwerk, and more, and getting to see her on the grandest stage in the Northwest is a treat for everyone involved.

DARRIUS

It wouldn’t be festival season at The Gorge without Northwest favorite DARRIUS taking the stage at some point. A New Orleans-native, but an adopted Seattleite, DARRIUS, aka Darrius Washington, is an all-time PNW great in the dance music scene. Playing everything from house to techno to electro and more, DARRIUS’ ability to blend genres and consistently find the perfect vibe for any type of performance is what sets him apart. While he’s no stranger to The Gorge, we’ll also never forget the time he helped save the day at Resolution 2014 when Above & Beyond were unable to make the show. Moments like that, along with countless other smaller, but still very important moments, are why the PNW has fallen in love with DARRIUS and won’t be missing his set at Beyond Wonderland.

We’ve got more Seattle favorites we can’t wait to see at Beyond Wonderland!
