On The Hiyu brings Seattle a stacked summer slate of shows on the water

Spring is just around the corner, and that means Pacific Northwest dance music fans are preparing for another incredible season of outdoor electronic music events. This year, Seattle’s premier floating venue, On The Hiyu, is hosting a stacked 2026 slate of shows.

The iconic Hiyu is bringing together a curated series of electronic events for 2026. They feature international touring artists, progressive house showcases from Vivid Presents, and two extra special Dream It On The Hiyu publicly-created events.

‘Obsidian’ brings major international EDM artists

Kicking things off on April 18th, Obsidian is an “electronic music collective focused on transformation-driven, immersive event experiences.” A mix of Afro-house, house, indie, and melodic styles, the Obsidian series “emphasizes connection, energy, and intentional programming that turns each event into a cohesive sonic journey.”

You can catch the first Obsidian show, featuring international melodic duo Monkey Safari, on April 18. Monkey Safari’s bright, sunny sound is the perfect thing to kick off the music season on the water. On May 22, Obsidian returns featuring TMPLE’s deep progressive sets that are thick with jazz influences sure to make a PNW sunset memorable.

On The Hiyu is also hosting DMNW favorite Felix Cartal on April 19, touring in support of his “Sabotage Tour Pt. 1.” Cartal defined himself as an “all sorts of music maker” in our interview over 10 years ago, and his subsequent albums have not disappointed. Finally, on June 28, On The Hiyu hosts CRI presents AMI, a creative-led showcase connecting label culture with the open-water format.

‘Sea Sound On The Hiyu’ curates the best of ViViD Presents

For fans of progressive sounds, On The Hiyu has you covered all season long with the ViViD Presents-produced Sea Sound series. Hosted exclusively aboard The Hiyu, Sea Sound focuses on melodic progressive house and techno programming specifically designed for sunsets and evening journeys on the water.

Sea Sound begins on April 24 featuring Natascha Polké, who blends melodic house with live vocal elements and emotionally driven production to create immersive, cinematic sets. On May 3, Sea Sound returns featuring Rezident, bringing his atmospheric, melody-forward house sound to The Hiyu with depth and precision.

Finally, on June 5, don’t miss Sea Sound featuring Shingo Nakamura + OTR, where Nakamura’s signature melodic and piano-led progressive style pairs with OTR’s emotionally textured electronic sound for a layered, high-impact waterfront showcase.
