Rekordbox introduces new ‘cloud connected’ library management

Rekordbox is making it easier than ever for DJs to connect and sync their vast libraries of music! They’ve introduced a ton of new features in their latest release of the software’s 6.0 update.

In updating their revamped application, Rekordbox debuts an all new cloud connected library management system. Now artists can sync and utilize their entire music library across multiple devices via the cloud-based application Dropbox. DJs can now practice, prepare and even perform from their homes until it’s safe for us to reunite.

As the needs of the music industry change Rekordbox is actively working to evolve and fill in the blanks. Creating music during a world wide quarantine is definitely a new challenge but not an impossible one. To answer their creator’s needs Rekordbox has rebuilt their platform alongside the release of version 6.0.

Not only have they ended their previous licensing system, they’ve introduced three new comparative subscription options. Ranging from the likely popular Free option comes the Core and Creative plans as well, each offering select features to best suit each artist’s needs.

As exciting as Rekordbox’s newest cloud connected release is, there’s a slight catch. In order to utilize the cloud sync feature users must subscribe and pay for a Creative plan. While using the Creative plan, the options for work flow are endless. Artists can edit tracks on the go and store all metadata safely in the cloud. That means if your computer goes missing or gets damaged, no music will be lost! All of the Creative plan features will help DJs to create, promote and finally deliver their sound.

Currently, Rekordbox is offering a 30-day free trial of both their Core and Creative subscription plans. The offer is open to everyone, even if you’ve used a previous Rekordbox free trial for the previous application.

Along with the 30-day free trial, Rekordbox is promoting a three month introductory offer on the Core and Creative plans until July 13, 2020. Check out Rekordbox’s comparative plan chart to find each subscription plan’s full list of features!
