Resident Advisor recently launched a new job board to give the music industry hopefuls a place to find new opportunities. Doors Open lists jobs around the world, posted by industry leaders like Beatport and Ableton. With the disappearance of EDM Jobs, Doors Open is the place to go to find leads on a job.
So far it doesn’t look like there are any jobs in the Seattle area, so you’ll have to relocate if you’re hoping to connect with any of these companies. There is a multitude of jobs in California, New York, and Germany.
Of course, with any of these positions you have to be careful what you wish for. These jobs are likely highly competitive, and you may find the workload and pay to be a mismatch. Either way, if you’re looking to make inroads into the music industry, Doors Open could be a great resource for you to investigate just what’s out there.
