RL Grime Gives Us Second Taste Of New Album With “Reminder”

ln preparation for his new album Void, released via WeDidIt Records on November 18th, RL Grime has teased us with a second song from his upcoming album. Although Core wasn’t too far off from what RL Grime has produced in the past, Reminder will arguably be one of the more controversial tracks of 2014. Although it is ‘chilled’ and ‘relaxed’ compared to most of RL Grime’s previous work, It is a massive milestone that features up-and-coming How To Dress Well, who really gives the track a lot of feeling and emotion. It was certainly a gutsy decision for Henry to not only make this track, but to release it, since a majority of his fans expect a very dark, raw, trap sound. Reminder isn’t any of that. It’s a track that stands on its own ground for those of us that embrace all styles of music. Most important of all, it shows that Void will have plenty of depth throughout the album, and will likely show variance from track to track.

Although Core proved to be much different than Reminder, this will be an exciting album in terms of hearing what else RL Grime can do. We are glad he took a leap of faith and decided to make this track. Void surely will be an exciting album to listen to and we have a feeling it will take a lot of people by surprise. You can check out Core and more on RL Grime here.
