Last year, we wrote about the numerous cancellations of events due to the Omicron surge over the winter. This year we are loving that we get to write about and experience the opposite. Here’s the quick and dirty on some of most talked about NYE 2023 events coming up in Seattle.
To make it easier for you to decide, we simplified it with a quick who, what, where, and how. Seattle will have some progressive trance, bass house, hip-hop, and more. Hopefully there is something that fits your vibe and maybe we’ll catch you at one of these events. Let’s get started.

Diggin Deep NYE Masquerade & The Breakfast Club

Highlights: House Stage (deep, melodic, bass, tech) & DnB stage. Midnight performance by Chaotic Noise Marching Corps (15-piece band) + the Fractal Phase dancers

The event is presented by Uniting Souls, a Seattle based independent record label and event production group. Around since 1997, Uniting Souls is considered one of the strongest underground music organizations on the West Coast.

The Breakfast Club
But the party does not stop at 4AM as Monkey Loft keeps it going until 4PM New Year’s Day with The Breakfast Club which features Wajatta (live), Fungineers, and DJ Heather. Support across 3 stages by local acts.

Haute Sauce NYE 2023

Highlights: guaranteed hip hop goodness in the club that does it best in the city
Haute Sauce has solidified itself in the Seattle scene as most premiere showcase of weekly Saturday night hip-hop and dance. The night will be hosted by Jarv Dee, who heads Moor Gang which is a proven and eclectic group of Seattle rappers. Get ready for gritty, heavy hitting rhymes paired with irrepressible party energy. The performers of the night will be D TRIPLE J, J4S, G-LO B2B HAN, and ITSTR3NT.

Highlights: The full Ora will be open as they’ve recently launched their downstairs area making it 2 floors with 4 dance floors and 4 bars, for a night of varying tastes
NYE 2023 Masquerade Affair
Seattle welcomes back Gabe & Dresden + Friends to ring in 2023. The long time duo celebrated NYE with us in 2020. This year they will joined by rising Anjunadeep artist Durante in his Seattle debut. San Francisco based artist Karin Bash will have opening duties. This event will be held on Level Two of the club.

NYE 2023 Latin/Reggaeton
Cat Pack Productions, a local event production team with a focus on latin and international themes, teamed up with The Ora to bring the best reggaeton Seattle has to offer. This event will be held on Level One of the club.

Night Bass NYE

Highlights: Hear influences of U.K. garage and dubstep, with tints of 90’s rave energy
Insomniac artist AC Slater, head of label Night Bass, looks to rock the Showbox with some heavy bass house, a subgenre heavily favored in the Seattle scene. The LA-based DJ producer will be joined by Kaleena Zanders, Shift K3y, & Jack Beats.

Dance Yourself Clean
Chop Suey

Highlights: a unique modern indie dance music party with a dedicated indie electronic playlist
After rebranding and new ownership in 2002, Chop Suey has regained its status as a reliable setting for live music in the heart of Capitol Hill. Indie meets electronic in this Capitol Hill rock lounge inspired venue. The night will have a playlist of pure indie electronic featuring music from Odesza, Toro y Moi, Tame Impala, Oliver Tree, and so much more.

Highlights: in partnership with Moet Hennessy and hosted by DJ Supreme Rock
DJ Supreme Rock brings tastes of soul, funk, and hip-hop to partygoers. He has been in the scene for over 30 years currently as a KEXP radio personality and has been the official DJ of the Seattle Seahawks. Different ticket packages available which would include a private buffet and even an on stage experience. Bring your glitz and glam for this groovy evening.
