The last year or two, Simian Mobile Disco have been a little on the quiet side with the exception of their collaboration with Cosmic TRG, but that can only mean one thing: There is new music coming our way! Recently the duo consisting of Jas Shaw and James Ford have made their first single Tangents, taken off their upcoming new album Whorl due out September 9th on Anti Records.

While there are not too many DJ’s that produce techno anymore, Simian Mobile Disco can pull that off flawless whether it’s performed live or for a DJ set. Something about Simian Mobile Disco’s fascinates the senses. This will be their 5th full length album since their nearly 10 together as a group. This new album will take Simian Mobile Disco to new places and bigger opportunities. We are excited to where Whorl will take the duo with their new album and you can expect Simian Mobile Disco to roll back through Seattle either later this year or sometime next year.
