As mentioned before, this year’s lineup was a major selling point for our team. Bringing in world class names like Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Flume, and Disclosure, you know this festival is going to be killer! Even the non-headliner acts were excellent.

Skrillex was the absolute best way to close out the first evening of the festival. He played every song you could have wanted to hear, including the ever famous break out track Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, Bangarang, all the way down to Jake U’s Take U There. Another artist that really stood out to us was G Jones. With having a 4:45 time slot on the first day, you’d think it would be difficult to pack the house, but the Sierra Tent was overflowing with festival goers getting down to filthy, trap-style beats! It was so hot in there, you’d never know it was only 16 degrees outside.

Another great aspect to the festival was the SnowGlobe late night after parties. Due to sound ordinances, the festival had to be shut down fairly early, but if you wanted to keep the night going, after party tickets were available for purchase. The vibe in the after parties, located in the MontBleu Casino, were really chill and low key. There were bars located in the rooms the parties were in, so if you wanted to chill out and listen to music, you could easily do that. There was also plenty of floor space if you still had the need to bust a move.
