Snowbombing Drops First Canadian Lineup, Ticket Info, and More

Back in August, we caught word that Snowbombing, Europe’s biggest winter music festival, was making its way to Canada. Needless to say, with our festival season coming to a close, we were thrilled to know we wouldn’t have to wait until summer for our next big weekend. The event promised 4 days and night of music, partying, and of course… SNOW. Set to take place in beautiful Sun Peaks, British Columbia we’ve patiently been waiting for the announcement of their lineup. Thankfully, the wait is over and we’re finally getting a look at what Blueprint Events and Coors Light has in store for us.

A quick look, and we were instantly met with the “WE NEED TO GO” feeling. With top honors going to Kaskade, we couldn’t be any more pleased, especially with his last performance at Magnifique earlier this year. A certain sense of nostalgia was also felt seeing Ludacris below, we’d be lying if we said we didn’t know all the words to What’s Your Fantasy. Equally as pleasing was the amount of B.C. talent rounding out the lineup such as Mat the Alien, Basscoast Co-organizer – The Librarian, Whipped Cream, and (OF COURSE) Skiitour!

Event only wristbands start at just $199CAD, and are expected to go on sale soon. Travel packages (which include event wristbands) went on sale Nov. 1st and have been moving quickly! With travel packages ranging from $700 (per person) and up you’ll make sure you’ve got a nice, comfy place to rest your head after a day of partying. While most of us are still recovering from summer, thankfully all you need to secure your room and wristband is make a depot of $150CAD and pay the rest in Febuary. It doesn’t end their though, with Snowbombing is also offering travel accommodations from Vancouver or Kewlowna starting at $140CAD and lift tickets starting at $60CAD. Snowbombing truly goes beyond the music and fully embraces winter with everything from snowboard contests to snowball fights. The event is shaping up to be one of the most exciting 4 days of the year, and we’ve still got 5 months to go! With 17 years of experience, the folks at Snowbombing have certainly figured out how to throw a good party. Set on the 4,000 acres of pristine winter wonderland at Sun Peaks, we guarantee you’ll have moments where you’ll stop to think “…Is this real life”?
