Closing out the main stage was Bass Academy 2016 headliners Adventure Club. The Canadian duo brought the heat early, opening with the next mosh pit anthem, Skellism x Terror Bass x Lil Jon In The Pit. The two would drop plenty of hard trap, a contrast to their Bass Academy set, before mellowing things out with tracks like Gold and Crave You. One of our favorite moments of the night came when they played Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s Holy Grail. We got goose bumps as the crowd sang along. “Baby, it’s amazing, I’m in this maze with you. I just can’t crack your code.” The audio would be turned down as the crowd took over- who knew Seattle had that much vocal talent?!

By the end of the evening, all thoughts about long lines, crowded bass stage, etc. were long gone. The calendar had turned and we were energized by good music, new friends and a new year. That was until it was time to drive home. Seattle-area, let’s work on driving in the snow…please!

What did you like (or dislike) about Resolution? Who was your favorite set? Any fun stories to share? Drop a comment and let us know!
