We know we aren’t alone in desperately wanting to go back to Paradiso. We want to relive the magic that was the Seven Lions set in the Digital Oasis tent. We have just been gifted with the beautiful, other-worldly video for Worlds Apart, featuring the beautiful vocal of Kerli. Closing our eyes takes us right back to the magic at the Gorge, if only for a few minutes.
The video is beautiful in its simplicity, and yet remarkably intricate. This is not your stereotypical EDM video of a crowd raging to a heavy drop. Seven Lions chose instead to tell a story of mystery, of a star-crossed journey, and of an unclear destiny. The video for Worlds Apart begins with Seven Lions opening a book, which then affords us the opportunity to peer in on a world with stars and a moon much richer than ours. The book opens on a beautiful young woman awakening in the brightly star-lit sky to make her way towards the ocean and her fate.
