Yes, you’ve heard Rude. Understandably or not, the story of Magic! trying to get his girlfriend’s father to bless their marriage, failing, then deciding to “marry her anyway” has been a runaway summer hit. It’s just that kind of sun-drenched romp that makes you think maybe her dad really was “so rude.”
But much like their inevitable divorce, Summer anthems fade in Fall, and now it’s no surprise that Grammy-winning Zedd took up the mantle of just destroying this remix. It’s an overwhelming, uplifting progressive/disco house track full of the live piano and guitar that are quickly becoming a staple of Zedd productions. The drop, while very similar to recent remixes like Empire of the Sun’s Alive, clearly represents a level up in Zedd’s production skill. The Grammy’s must have made an impact, because every millisecond of this tune is perfectly placed.
