We’d say that Unlike Pluto is appropriately named – because in many ways he is unlike anything we’ve heard. For one, he’s a multi-instrumental musician, recording his own guitar chords into his own electronic productions. For another, he spans across the genre board, going from what seems like dubstep into ambient breaks; Then, out of nowhere comes a pillager’s tune, Ye Scallywag, and that’s it – our minds are (*phoosh!*) blown. It makes sense why his tags on Soundcloud don’t state a specific genre; Rather, they are made of his own creative terms like “allometric-darwin-gill-granular-hobos” and “imaginal-discs-green-fluorescent-protein.” Sounds like someone’s mixing too much chem studying with their music producing..But whatever gets this kid going, we don’t want it to stop. Best of all, Unlike Pluto offers up all of his music for free – yet another reason to love this amazingly talented artist. Ye best be keepin’ a weather eye on his musical horizon. Savvy?
