The history of musical acts to come through the Northwest speaks for itself. From a wide variety of genres spanning decade after decade, many of music’s most popular and iconic artists have performed in the Northwest. Incredible venues, quality climates, driven fans, and an impressive list of home-grown artists have made the area a must-visit for artists around the world.
Despite the obvious reasons to visit, some major artists still manage to avoid our corner of the continent, year after year. When it comes to dance music, many huge acts have spent far too long without shows in the Northwest. That is, until this summer. Last year we came up with a list of major artists we hoped would make their long-awaited returns, and thankfully, many of our prayers have been answered.
The astounding amount of high quality Northwest summer festival lineups is no secret, and the numerous options at our disposal has also brought a ‘who’s who’ of EDM’s top acts. Although we’re still patiently waiting for NERO to come back, anyone complaining about the artists coming to the Northwest this summer don’t know what they’re talking about. So, we came up with a list of awesome artists who are (finally) making their Northwest returns.
