6 Seattle Club Shows To Supplement Your Festival Season

[divider]ARAABMUZIK @ Q NIGHTCLUB – JUNE 17TH[/divider]

One of the local shows that we’re most excited for this summer is AarabMuzik’s performance at Q Nightclub on June 17th. He made his debut in the Northwest at Decibel Festival, performing at Neumos in 2011, and has performed in our corner of the continent far too few times since then. Showcasing his musical touch since he was a child, Providence-native Abraham Orellana is an artist dance music fans point to when debating the genre’s merits.

He’ll likely be playing new original tunes during his set, as he’s releasing his upcoming album Dream World on June 16th. His live-sets aren’t to be missed (check out the video below for proof), and with a catalog of new originals at his disposal, we’ll be hard pressed to miss this show. Purchase your tickets here and keep updated on the Facebook event page here.

Another summer, and another batch of Dutch wunderkinds are making their appearances throughout the Northwest. Hardwell, Tiësto, Afrojack, and countless others have several Northwest appearances under their belts, and Oliver Heldens is beginning to rack up a few of his own. The 20-year-old performed at FreakNight 2014 last year, and is returning to Seattle at Foundation Nightclub on June 20th. He was also in Vancouver, BC last month, and played at Coachella earlier this year as well. He’s one of the figureheads of deep house and when he performs alongside Dr. Fever, Ian Powers, and Philip James, we’ll be there, and so should you. Get your tickets to the show here and join the Facebook event page here.

Arguably the show of the summer when it comes to the club circuit, drum & bass legend Spor’s Seattle-debut is firmly in the ‘MUST GO’ category. Tickets are nearly as cost-efficient for the fan as his most recent album, Caligo, which was released for free earlier this year. Jon Gooch, as he’s also known, treated Seattle to an unforgettable set as electro house alias Feed Me in early-April at Foundation, and it’s safe to say the city made an impression. Seattle was then included on the six-city North American tour for Spor, taking place throughout mid-July.

This show will sell out, and you’ll be sad if you don’t have a ticket when it does. There’s not telling when Spor will perform in Seattle again, and we won’t be missing out. Purchase your tickets here and get all of the info on the event via the Facebook page here. If you’re unable to snag a ticket to see Spor, European bass music figurehead Liquid Stranger is performing at Foundation the week before, on July 8th.
