Excision brings together rising bass music talent on ‘Apex: The Remixes’

Pioneering dubstep producer Excision has released Apex: The Remixes, a reimagined version of his mid-2018 album Apex. The remix album is a showcase of diverse talent, which includes bass music up-and-comers and veterans alike.

As if the original album didn’t already feature incredible artists, Excision adds even more talent to Apex: The Remixes, with notable names such as Slander, 12th Planet, Black Tiger Sex Machine and rising names like Shadient, Blunts & Blondes, and Boogie T.

All of these amazing musicians add their own characteristic sounds that breathe new life into Excision’s signature style. Apex: The Remixes features something for every bass fan, whether it’s the more melodic sounds of Spag Heddy’s remix of Home, or the mind-bending drops in Subtronics’ version of Vault

Excision released Apex: The Remixes at the perfect time. Almost every featured artist on both Apex and the remix album have been added to Excision’s very own Lost Lands Festival. The festival takes place mid-September in Ohio. This will be an amazing opportunity to learn first-hand why Excision chose to work with each of the artists on his latest releases. Also check out Excision’s Lost Lands 2018 mixes for a taste of what’s to come.
