Excision’s Bass Canyon returns to the Gorge with Crankdat, Illenium, Slander, & more

The wait is over! Bass Canyon returns to Washington for its eighth year, and the recently announced lineup is hotter than ever. Hosted by Canadian dubstep legend Excision, the largest bass music festival in the Pacific Northwest will take place on August 14-16, 2026, at our favorite outdoor venue, the Gorge Amphitheatre. This year’s lineup features an incredibly diverse array of artists. Ranging from old school to new school, heavy-hitting dubstep to experimental bass, three sunset sets, and a number of unreleased B2Bs that will surely blow our minds.

Old School x New School

To our pleasant surprise, this year’s Bass Canyon lineup features a few artists that may bring some former ravers out of retirement. Borgore, Pegboard Nerds, Dirtyphonics, and Badklaat will be gracing the Gorge stage for the first time. And many of these artists haven’t returned to the PNW in years years. We are very much looking forward to hearing some iconic throwback tracks and are hoping for some sneak peeks at some new projects as well. On the other hand, some emerging artists who have been taking over the new age of bass music are Dennett, Flozone, Klo, Machaki, Seth David, and Tynan to name a few. Do not miss out on these early sets. They are the future headliners of your favorite festivals!

Unreleased B2Bs with Crankdat and Illenium

One of the many exciting features of this lineup reveal is the unreleased B2Bs: one with Crankdat, who recently sold out his first Tacoma Dome headline show back in March, and one with Illenium, who just finished his historic residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. These seasoned, well-loved artists have immense followings on their own, so we cannot wait to see who they will be sharing the stage with this summer.

Excision B2B Slander

Per usual, Excision will play his festival three times: one regular set, one experimental Detox set, and one B2B set. This year’s B2B will be with Slander, the iconic bass duo well-known for their melodic future bass and “heaven trap” sound. Excision typically leans more towards heavy dubstep so it’ll be quite interesting to see how Excision and Slander will blend their two distinct sounds together. We have no doubt that they will blow it out of the Columbia River water!

Like many other bassheads in the PNW and beyond, Bass Canyon is one the highlights of our summer. We cannot wait to return for yet another unforgettable weekend full of community, music, and the glorious view of the Columbia River Gorge. GA and VIP tickets and camping passes are still available for as low as $50 down. See you on the hill in August!
