Adrian Lux Heads To The Northwest: Why He Shouldn’t Be Missed

With so many shows begging for our attention every weekend, how are we to choose? To prepare for this weekend’s big decision, we went to the drawing board to break things down: First of all, what do we want in our ideal night out at the club? Well, dancing for certain. But, not just a replay of last week’s generic dance tunes, but something intriguing and beautiful as well as dance-worthy. The venue should be classy with room to breathe, but not so uptight that we can’t feel like ourselves. And finally, we just want the featured artist to have a great time with us, and to not be afraid that we are going to remove him from the stage for going a little underground or away from the mainstream. In fact, we will praise them for it. After plugging in all of these components into our local “prefect night out” arrhythmic, the answer became clear: Adrian Lux at Foundation Nightclub.

Adrian Lux is known in the electronic music scene as a forward-thinking producer. He puts immense effort into developing refreshing melodies using the latest production tools and techniques, and doesn’t just let any lyrical attempt touch his music unless it is the perfect fit. In fact, Adrian Lux is known to help out in the writing realm of his productions as well, and features some of the most phenomenal vocalists both in and outside of the electronic music scene. As much as his own originals and remixes are enough to win over our weekend debacle, he also features many of his current and classic favorites that move him personally and professionally. Selecting a track because of it’s commercial popularity or how many times it’s been played at a massive festival is not Adrian Lux’s strategy. His sets are intimate no matter the crowd size, and no two performances are ever the same. Coming up next week on June 3rd, Adrian Lux is set to release his latest album, Make Out, on Ultra Records. All the more reason to come celebrate the weekend with him, as we are guaranteed to hear something that is not yet released. Need any more convincing? Didn’t think so..
